202407 LDS General Moral Gravity

Thank you for taking the time to complete this survey.

If you are under 18 years old, please do not participate in this Survey. Please read the remaining instructions below before proceeding.

The initial sections of this survey refer to products and services produced by public companies that may present a moral quandary for an investor contemplating investing in a company.

Please rank the product involvement categories by moral gravity from the standpoint of an investor that is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints:

  • Would a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints find it problematic to invest in a company involved in the production of the following products or services?
  • What would be their level of comfort or discomfort doing so?
This survey is organized into six categories or "Standards" that make up the Bountiful Financial LDS Investment Framework.

These Standards are:
  1. Respecting the Worth of Souls
  2. Strengthening Families
  3. Living Abundantly
  4. Caring for God's Creations
  5. Agency & Accountability
  6. Promoting Peace & Fellowship
Each section includes a short doctrinal statement supporting the Standard. At the end of each section, there is an opportunity to share additional thoughts about the Standard and/ or the individual product involvement categories. We welcome any comments you are willing to share.

The final section solicits demographic information that will be used to provide further context for the responses. The information requested cannot be used to positively identify respondents to this survey. Your responses will remain confidential unless you choose to provide your name and contact information at the end of the survey, in which case the identifying information will be used only for internal purposes at Bountiful Financial (including, for example, requesting additional feedback on this or other faith-based investment topics).
