Strengthening Families

Living Abundantly

Jesus Christ summarized his mission by saying: “I am come that they might have life and that they might have it more abundantly.” The prophet Lehi taught: “Men are, that they might have joy.”​ The human body is a gift of God. Jesus Christ taught: “the spirit and the body are the soul of man,” thereby emphasizing the interconnectedness of physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being.​ An abundant life includes seeking out and creating beauty: “If there is anything virtuous, lovely, or of good report or praiseworthy, we seek after these things”.

Caring For God’s Creations

God created the Earth for the “benefit and use of man, both to please the eye and gladden the heart; … to strengthen the body and enliven the soul.” He clarified that the earth and its resources were to be used “with thanksgiving” and “with judgment, not to excess, neither by extortion.”  Adam was commanded to “replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over… every living thing that moveth upon the earth.“​

Jesus Christ is the “Prince of Peace”. Datasets

Working in concert with our faith-based investment frameworks, Bountiful Financial’s three upcoming, proprietary datasets will aid in portfolio customization through direct indexing. These data solutions offer accurate, timely, and actionable guidance on the selection, exclusion, and engagement with companies within a portfolio.

Product Involvement

This dataset screens companies based on the nature of their revenue-generating activities derived from products or services that align or detract from the ideals expressed in our Investment Frameworks.

Controversies

This dataset identifies potentially controversial practices of companies recommended for inclusion in a faith-based portfolio and follows a company’s response including its efforts to remediate and cure the controversy.

Impact

This dataset evaluates a company’s positive or negative impact on society, expressed in Impact Scores for each of the key Standards of a Framework. It aggregates them into an overall Bountiful Impact Score.
