I admire the emphasis on practicing “discernment” in the landmark Catholic document Mensuram Bonam. It challenges Catholics and all people of faith to leave neutral ground and make intentional, values-based decisions in their investments.

While the world rarely offers binary choices, this complexity shouldn’t discourage us. Instead, it presents an opportunity to connect more deeply with God. Through the struggle to discern, we align our hearts with His will, relying on His grace to guide us.
